Digital Industries Energy Operations

The Energy industry is known for its deep technical experience and realisation of complex projects. At the same time, it is now facing a demand compression and the commoditization of new digital technologies that could bring the opportunity to unlock trapped value in the value chain from subsurface to terminal. Accenture’s Digital Industries Energy Operations team works at the intersection of industry understanding and digital capabilities. Aim is to bring the best of Accenture’s capabilities & investments into the digital ‘new’, into the context of the Energy industry and be engaged in conversations with the industry to identify, shape and deliver digital transformation.

 

We are looking for Energy Operations Consultants to join our growing team and help our Clients on their transformation journey.

What can you give us?

 

Experience:

The Digital Industries Energy Operations is a rapidly evolving area, experience in any of the following areas are heavily recognised:

 

·         Relevant consulting or business transformation experience in multiple aspects of the Energy value chain, either in the capital build or operations space

·         Application of IoT solutions (e.g. Mobility, Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, Cloud, Security) to unlock trapped value

·         Innovation experience to support organisations to get pace and outcomes in the digital revolution 

Required Skills:

To succeed as a Digital Industries Energy Operations Consultant, you must have the following skills:

·       Ability to articulate and clearly communicate complex problems and solutions in a simple and logical manner

·       Understanding of how business strategy shapes business and technology implementation programmes

·       Well-developed analytical skills and the ability to provide clarity to complex issues and synthesize large amounts of information

·       Possess the ability to influence other people using logical fact-based arguments and persuasive skills / tactics

·       Desire to continually learn and improve own knowledge and understanding

·       Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills

·       An ability to inspire teams to deliver to a high standard in a suitable timeframe

·       A team player with the ability to coach and develop others. Track record in attracting talent.
