Role: Engineering Analyst, Consultants, Managers
Location: Edinburgh, London Manchester or Newcastle
Travel: 100%
Salary: Between 31k and 70k

What responsibilities will you have?
 
  • Hands-on design, development and delivery of complex full-stack technical solutions using a broad mix of technologies and languages
  • Working with clients to define their technical strategy and direction
  • Supporting the requirements definition of a project
  • Leading small/medium sized teams in the end-to-end delivery of projects
 
What skills & experience are we looking for?
 
  • Technology Passion
    • A strong hands-on technologist across multiple technologies/programming languages
    • A passion for technology architecture/delivery with a technical problem solving mindset
    • The ability to learn and apply new technologies quickly.
    • A desire to progress with your career whilst remaining hands-on with Technology
  • Technical Skills
    • Programming (multiple languages – e.g. Java, C#, .NET) and Programming concepts (e.g. OO skills, design patterns)
    • API / Microservices design and development
    • DevOps
    • Persistence Technologies
    • Infrastructure & Platform Technologies
    • Virtualization Technologies (e.g. Docker)
    • Cloud
    • Artificial Intelligence / Automation
    • Database technologies
    • Technical Architecture & Design
    • Automated testing
    • Agile, Lean Continuous Integration approaches and best practices (e.g. SCRUM, TDD, pair programming, continuous integration etc.)
  • Other Required Skills
    • Strong communications skills
    • Experience working across all phases of the lifecycle across multiple industries
    • Experience working and building strong relationships within a client environment
    • Ability to apply experience to ensure successful client and Accenture teams
    • Experience working as an individual or within co-located team environments
    • A flexibility towards travel
    • (for senior roles) Experience shaping and delivering small to medium size pieces of work 
    • (for senior roles) Experience mobilizing and shaping technical teams
    • (for senior roles) The confidence and poise to become the trusted advisor of senior and board level client executives
 
 
 
What academic qualifications do you need?
 
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent)
 
Accenture will be recruiting at the following levels: Analyst, Senior Analyst, Team Lead, Associate Manager and Manager level.
