Location: UK
Salary: Upto £75,000 + benefits
Travel : Up to 40%

What responsibilities will you have?
 
The Technical Architect defines technical requirements and develops designs to support defined business requirements. This includes architecture component selection, design pattern definition, application of principles, and participation in detailed design reviews. They may also review existing applications and provide recommendation for improvements and enhancements. Serves as point of escalation for development and technology operations teams.
 
The role requires interfacing with other architects, delivery/account teams, vendors, and BPO leadership to define and validate requirements, contribute to business case development, and develop application roadmap to support BPO strategic visions.
 
Following Accenture methodologies and industry best practices, this role will be accountable for delivering the desired outcomes and value of a project/program.  These goals will be achieved leveraging our global network, working together and openly sharing ideas, knowledge and resources.
 
  • Directs quality work efforts and provides guidance to other team members
  • Makes independent decisions in area of responsibility
  • High degree of accountability for client/BPO leadership satisfaction or relationship
  • Leads/manages medium to large work effort and/or team
  • Designs technology solution for BPO offering including application technical requirements gathering, integration design and technology solution design
  • Create Technology Solution Blueprint following Accenture Delivery Architectures principles and/or industry best practices. Select components, design patterns and develop architecture principles for development teams.
  • Builds strong customer relationships. Manage expectations at all levels, including clients, BPO leadership, vendors, and BPO delivery teams.
  • Develop work plans, financial estimates and staffing plans
  • Assess options to address the risks and issues and improve the program performance
What skills & experience are we looking for?
  • Self-motivated and ability to manage remote resources and teams
  • Strong project management skills
  • Well-developed risk analysis and mitigation skills
  • Proactive issue/conflict identification and resolution ability
  • Strong problem solving, analysis, and design skills Willing to learn and/or evaluate new technologies to be incorporated into solution portfolio.
  • Strong communication skills and experienced in communication at executive level

 

What academic qualifications do you need?
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer information systems, engineering, business, or related field or equivalent experience
Travel requirements may vary from project to project and type of assignment, but is generally expected to travel in country / region 20-40% on average through the year with a degree of unpredictabilityInternal programs or management of an investment initiative portfolio may require 10-20% travel
 
This position is flexible in supporting “work from home”.  Other flexible work arrangements can be discussed.
