Salary: Up to £40,500 PA dependent on experience
Location: Chesterfield
Travel: 10%

What responsibilities will you have?
  • Delivering annual and bespoke pension projects;
  • Assessing the impact of and effecting change as a result of documentary/legislative and/or procedural change;
  • Managing the service provided to scheme members delivered via the Pensions Portal; and
  • Managing and developing the Pensions Project team.
  • Point of contact for resource management and scheduling of pension projects across the team.
  • Working with colleagues in the support the delivery of impact assessments
  • Performance management: career counselling, coaching, performance development, 1:1's, mentoring of members of the Projects team, as required
  • Leverage Accenture internal knowledge to support the wider Chesterfield team
  • Drive and manage project related initiatives
  • Improve business processes within the team
  • Identify opportunity to add value to client
  • Understand the current environment and suggest and implement ideas for improvement
  • Drive for standardisation where possible
  • Responsible for maintenance and review cycle of project documentation
  • Working with Accenture internal teams to identify and deliver pension projects in an efficient and timely manner
  • Ensure all reports are delivered accurately and timely in accordance with statement(s) of work
  • Support provision of accurate and timely delivery of external SLAs/internal KPIs
  • Continuous improvement strategies and ideas
  • Risk and issue management as they relate to projects
  • Maintain flexibility regarding requests and actions assigned to meet the needs of the client.
  • Communicate and celebrate success and achievements
What skills & experience are we looking for?
  • PRINCE2 (or similar) a proved track record/demonstrable record as an experienced practitioner or PMI pensions qualification
  • Solid pension background gained in-house or at a third party pension provider
  • Experience at undertaking impact assessments (i.e. determining the impact of change in response to legislative and/or procedural change)
  • Prior experience working in an environment of frequent change
  • Experience in reporting and presenting to senior management forums
  • Problem Solving and Adding Value through design thinking
  • Experience of working on own initiative organizing and delivering pension projects
  • Solid pension background gained in-house or at a third party pension provider
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Results orientated
  • Experience with managing and coaching teams
  • Experience of planning and executing both annual and bespoke pension projects
  • Significant  team management/staff development experience
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Able to demonstrate progress towards attaining an agreed professional qualification
  • Ability to work on own initiative while in a team environment
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Analytical approach to problem solving
  • Ability to establish and maintain key relationships across both Accenture and the Client’s organisation
What academic qualifications do you need?
  • Pensions qualified (PMI) and or PRINCE2 qualified
  • Bachelor’s degree and or equivalent
