Role: Oracle CPQ (big Machines) Specialist

Levels: Consultant to Senior Manager Dependant on experience

Salary: £40,000 - £85,000 plus benefits package based on experience

Location: London

Mobility: up to 100%

Key features of the role:

 

We are looking for Functional and Technical experts in Oracle CPQ Cloud (Big Machines) for consultant positions.

 

Oracle CPQ is a growth area for Accenture and our clients.  To respond to market requirements for deep Oracle CPQ functional and technical expertise, this team requires additional Oracle CPQ professionals.

 

You will operate alongside the senior business and IT stakeholders of our clients to understand their business requirements and contribute to the design and implementation of Oracle CPQ based solutions.

 

 

Key responsibilities may include:

 

Team with key client business and IT users to define business requirements and design solutions to meet their needs

·         Provide functional and technical subject matter expertise on Oracle CPQ

·         Gather and document requirements for Oracle CPQ implementations

·         Shape and design Oracle CPQ solutions for our clients

·         Manage technical and test teams to implement functionality

·         Manage change activities to ensure business adoption and effective user training


Responsibilities for candidates with relevant team leadership experience may also include:

 

·         Identify and manage senior stakeholder expectations

·         Manage the end to end project lifecycle to deliver projects on time and to budget

·         Lead teams in design and delivery of Oracle CPQ solutions

 

 

 

 

What we're looking for

 

You will have experience of working on large-scale, high profile and complex Oracle CPQ implementation programmes delivering to tight timescales where you have experienced all phases of the project lifecycle and gained a solid understanding of project management methodologies.  Client facing experience within multiple industries is also welcomed as well as deep Oracle CPQ functional or technical architecture expertise including:

 

Basic Qualifications

·         Minimum of 1 year of experience in the CPQ industry (BigMachines/Oracle CPQ Cloud preferred)

·         Experience with cloud platforms and integration

·         Strong customer facing experience

·         Project and solution effort estimation

·         Strong testing experience

·         Leadership and mentoring skills

·         Strong adherence to the collection and reuse of best practices

·         Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience

·         Ability to travel Monday - Thursday on a weekly basis

 

Professional Skill Requirements

·         Proven success in contributing to a team-oriented environment

·         Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment - Desire to work in an information systems environment

·         Excellent leadership, communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills

 

What other qualifications or skills do I need?

 

·         Minimum 2.1 Bachelors Degree or relevant experience desired

·         Preferably a consulting background and experience of at least 2 end-to-end Oracle CPQ implementation project lifecycles

·         Minimum of 2 years requirements gathering and design experience in CPQ solutions

·         Exposure to Java developments

·         Prior experience in Telco is beneficial

·         Strong team player (proven success in contributing to a team-oriented environment) and team leadership skills (for Project Lead roles)

·         Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment

·         Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
