Analytics Graduate Programme

Gain an understanding of how data, statistical and quantitative analysis, delivers data-driven business insights.

INTRODUCTION

All over the world, organisations are becoming aware that data is key to delivering competitive advantage. This data comes from multiple sources: images to audio, texts and tweets to blogs, not to mention the vast swathes of information surrounding every event, every object, every location and every moment. The big question is, how can organisations harness that data? The answer is data analytics.

Highly complex data manipulation drives commercial decisions and actions. As an Analyst, you will be working as part of our Digital Analytics practice, you’ll gain an understanding of how data and statistical and quantitative analysis, combined with exploratory and predictive models and fact-based management, delivers data-driven business insights.

On this programme, there are two main paths you can follow. The first involves delivering complex analytics solutions for our clients, working on big data and becoming familiar with complex databases. The other focuses on producing analytics for internet marketing campaigns. Whichever path you follow, you’ll have the opportunity to move across industries, helping you to grow from being an Analyst to a Consultant.

You’ll need a quantitative degree, such as maths, statistics, data science or computer science – a minimum 2:1 (achieved or predicted). We also look for 340 UCAS points across your top 3 A-levels (excluding General Studies). A flair for analytical and logical problem solving, plus strong numerical skills are essential. These are client-facing roles which entail interpreting and translating client requirements into workable solutions that bring business benefits. So you’ll also need excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, including the ability to articulate numerical concepts to a non-numerical audience.

Applications are now closed.

You’ll need to be prepared to travel as client projects could take you anywhere in the country – or even the world – though you will be aligned to a base at one of our main office locations in either Edinburgh, London, Manchester or Newcastle.

APPLICATION PROFILE AND PSYCHOMETRIC QUESTIONNAIRE

1

APPLICATION PROFILE AND PSYCHOMETRIC QUESTIONNAIRE

The first part of the process is to fill out an application profile which includes a psychometric questionnaire. Along with attaching your most up to date CV, we will ask you to provide some details of your background, experience, skills and education. Although this stage can be completed in under 10 minutes, you can exit and revisit the page as many times as you like before submitting. If your profile meets our role requirements and is identified as a good fit for the company and our culture, we will progress you through to the next stage.

IMMERSIVE ASSESSMENTS

IMMERSIVE ASSESSMENTS

You will then be asked to complete a series of short online assessments. This stage gives you the opportunity to prove your cognitive and functional ability, tech acuity and business acumen. From start to finish the assessments should take no longer than 1 hour to complete. Since they are untimed, you are welcome to start and stop the assessments as you wish and complete them at your leisure. If you excel across all areas, we will then progress you to the third and final stage.

ASSESSMENT CENTRE

ASSESSMENT CENTRE

At this stage you are required to attend a 3-hour Assessment Centre in our London office. The Assessment Centres will take you through a series of exercises that will give you insight into life at Accenture while allowing you to showcase your potential for the role. Some exercises such as the Virtual Reality segment and 1:1 interview will require you to participate on your own and others such as the business challenge will require you to work together with other candidates. You will be informed of the outcome within 10-15 business days.
