Rainer Binder is the global social services lead for Accenture's Public Service practice. He leads a team of committed professionals who deliver large-scale transformation projects in the human services industry for leading organisations and national governments around the world. These engagements have frequently been multifaceted and complex, and have included managing multi-vendor environments and distributed delivery teams.
After graduating with a diploma in Economics from the Universität Hohenheim in Stuttgart, Rainer developed his market-leading skills in management consultancy, project management and program management over the course of a 16-year career with Accenture. He also has more than nine years' experience in solution design, in business process design, and in budgeting and forecasting.
As Accenture's global Social Services lead, Rainer is responsible for all client and market development activities in the employment and social services market, and has served clients across the globe. He was the project lead for the design and implementation of the Virtual Labor Market program at the German Federal Labor Agency—one of the largest employment and transformation projects in the world. This included the implementation of a large CRM system, the definition of a new operating model and multi-channel strategy, and the creation of a new job portal, as well as taking responsibility for change management during the program.
Rainer has also led projects to implement an employment and social security platform for the Ministry of Labor in Saudi Arabia, and to implement a job-matching solution for the French Ministry of Employment and Social Affairs' job portal service.
