Kelly Weekes is a senior managing director responsible for leading Accenture’s comprehensive portfolio of business process services for global companies with headquarters in North America. Kelly heads a team that helps clients reinvent and refine their operating models by harnessing data, applied intelligence, digital technologies and the right talent to create exceptional customer experiences and drive sustainable growth. She also sits on the Global Leadership team for Accenture’s Operations. In addition, Kelly is a member of Accenture’s North America Leadership team.
Every day, Kelly works with organizations that are changing and reshaping industries. She understands how combining artificial intelligence and analytics can provide critical insights to continuously improve businesses and deliver results that matter such as data-driven decisions, spotting trends and opportunities, and improving productivity while reducing costs to better compete. She focuses on helping companies prepare for the future by developing intelligent operations that can navigate dynamic markets with agility and speed while supporting business strategies.
Throughout her 15-year career at Accenture, she has been managing change, simplifying the complex, and bringing together diverse resources and people to help organizations grow successfully. In her previous role as the senior managing director of Accenture Operations North America, North and South Eastern United States, she led Accenture’s Operations business spanning nine states plus Washington, D.C. Before that, she led Quality and Risk Management globally for Accenture’s Business Process Services, assessing risk and ensuring clients had the knowledge and the right processes in place to transition and run core operations well. Prior to this, she spent seven years in the Business Process Outsourcing start-up world shaping the early days of this industry and its early adopters after 10 years in Arthur Andersen’s Audit Practice.
Whether in the office or in her community, Kelly thrives on connecting people, recognizing potential and creating opportunities for others to grow and succeed. For the past five years, she has led the Accenture Atlanta Women’s Employee Resource Group (ERG), increasing enrollment 60 percent to a more than 500-member organization that focuses on career development, networking and mentoring, and has sponsored several International Women’s Day events. She is a member of Atlanta Women’s ERGs (AWE), a voluntary network of powerful organizations that want to make Atlanta a leading city for professional women, gender parity and inclusion. In addition, she is a former board member of FOCUS on Recovery where she ran a Skills to Succeed program to assist women in their long-term recovery from substance abuse.
Kelly holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Seton Hall University. She is based in Accenture’s Atlanta office and lives in Birmingham, Alabama, with her husband and two children.
