Ashish is a versatile leader who studied Chemical Engineering, and worked extensively across Life Sciences, Consumer Health and Retail. He is deeply passionate about the power of technology and digital in transforming healthcare and wellbeing.
Ashish was the Global Technology Industry Lead for Accenture’s Retail business and prior to that led technology business for consumer products industries in Europe. He had built Life Sciences Industry in Europe in his previous life, working extensively with the British and international Pharma companies in delivering transformative patient outcomes. He grew up in India, worked extensively across Europe, Far East, South East Asia and Americas, drawing rich experiences in diversity and multi-culturalism.
This diverse background has equipped him well to lead Accenture's health business in the UK. He says there are many parallels and lessons that can be drawn from the convergence of industries across the health continuum from new sciences to superior patient outcomes. Ashish combines his technology, industry crossover and client-facing experiences as he works to transform the UK's health system.
