As an electronic procurement platform, SeaPort-e is designed to streamline and automate the acquisition of critical professional services. Procurement professionals can use SeaPort-e to competitively acquire best-in-class services in a variety of disciplines. It encompasses twenty-two functional areas, including engineering, financial management, software development and program management, and spans seven distinct regions.
Contract participants include the Navy Systems Commands – NAVSEA, NAVAIR, SPAWAR, NAVFAC and NAVSUP –as well as the Office of Naval Research, United States Marine Corp (USMC), Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) and select others. NSWC Dahlgren is the central SeaPort-e contracting office with each Activity issuing task orders independently.
