My typical day at Accenture is anything but typical, and that is one of the charms of working at Accenture. It can be anything from continuing with one of many Business Development tasks, talking to my colleagues, handling issues on a given project, checking out a new cool tech feature, calling Salesforce, or interacting with other parts of Accenture. One thing is for sure: it is about talking with people – and that is my favorite thing!
Some people prefer a day where you basically know everything that is going to happen – I prefer days with very diverse tasks, a day where both halves of your brain are in use. And that is possible at Accenture.
One could argue that I have two fulltime jobs as being married and having three daughters is a full time work in itself, but I try to spend time on two additional passions as well. One of them is music where I play the piano, sing and write songs, and the other one is cooking which in my family has always been a task for the men. I also have some board meetings in a Danish NGO as well as political work which I will not bore you with. My evenings usually end with a good book, preferably a combination of history, fiction and a tad of weird humor.
