Job Description

We are now looking for Data Engineers with hands-on experience to design and implement solutions for data processing, streaming, analysis and visualization. In your role, you would be building solutions together with our clients with modern tools, integrating the latest achievements of data & AI to our client’s core business processes.
Your work will span over the following areas:
Building data streams to integrate different types of data sources to the applications that utilize and analyze the data
Integrating data from on-premise solutions to cloud services
Utilizing various data storage solutions and data transfer methods
Building solutions for data transfer and mirroring between cloud platforms
Editing, enriching, filtering, and analyzing data
Qualifications
You preferably have work experience from some of the following qualifications and interest to grow on the others:
Experience in data lakehouse solutions, such as Databricks
Hands-on coding / application development experience, for example Python, JavaScript, Node.js
Experience in relational databases and NoSQL databases
Experience in designing and building solutions using cloud platform such as AWS, Azure or GCP
Experience and/or strong interest in technologies related to data streaming, such as Apache Kafka, Apache Flink or similar
Experience and/or strong interest in technologies related to batch-based data processing, such as Apache Spark, Apache Airflow or similar.
Qualifications
To succeed in your role, we are expecting the following key qualifications:
Degree in Computer Science or Technical Science or similar
Preferably at least one AWS, GCP or Azure certificate
Understanding and interest in data and the development of its mediation solutions, from solution design to quality assurance and production
Skills in information system development, such as using version control as a team member, documentation skills, testing skills and understanding the roles and practices of an agile-based team
Strong willingness and enthusiasm to learn and develop own skills
Ability to be an innovative, resourceful, and collaborative problem solver
Good presentation and communications skills in written and spoken on Finnish and English
