Job Description
As Engineering Management Technology Consultant you will part of or leading teams in our client engagements. Your main goal is to help our clients succeed in their initiatives. Your detailed work description and responsibilities will be determined by your client engagement.
Engineering Management is our department focusing on complex client IT deliveries from either a functional or project management perspective. We have a strong methodology and internal culture, which strives for value creation, learning and growth. We work mainly in Helsinki and Tampere offices and are currently looking for additions to our Helsinki team.
We would expect you to have at least 2 years in IT development project(s), because it will smoothen your becoming part of the team and discussions with clients and team members. Working languages are Finnish and English, because of the typical client and delivery set-ups.
Responsibilities can be for instance:
- Ensure technical transformation is aligned with client’s business goals and processes
- Functional and technical understanding creation in client engagements
- Problem and issue solving and analysis
- Evaluation of business process readiness according to testing results
- Working either as a product owner or a scrum master. If you have gained a lot of experience, you might work for instance as an epic owner or a project manager.
Qualifications
Work you will do:
- Build your expertise in IT project deliveries and related technology solutions
- Work closely with clients to understand their business problems and challenge ideas when needed
- Facilitate functional design workshops when needed
- Translate business problems into functional requirements
- Produce functional design documentation and share knowledge with other teams
- Collaborate and work with various teams to deliver high quality outcomes
- Support the team working efficiently heading for common goals
