Strategic Lead negotiator Associate Director
Key Responsibilities, within and across specific Market Unit
- Establish and manage relationships with Business leadership, Quality leadership and Legal counterparts.
- Responsible for leading negotiation activities for some of Accenture's select deals (as defined by scope, size and type of work) to meet Accenture and client needs for a mutually beneficial outcome.
- Work with both internal and external stakeholders to execute the negotiation strategy.
- Help resolve potential and actual disputes while managing client expectations during the negotiation process.
- Responsible for ensuring global compliance to all requirements and inputs from legal, commercial and corporate transaction services teams in all deal negotiations.
- Champion Client Centric negotiation processes and coach executives on the global negotiation strategy for a deal or a dispute.
Qualifications
Management Knowledge and Experience:
- Minimum 15 yrs. relevant experience in roles with relevant skills such as quality, delivery leads, sales and or legal across multiple complex, high risk deals with proven ability to lead successful teams
- Able to collaborate and communicate effectively with executives at all levels of the client and Accenture organizations and be capable of influencing key commercial and contracting decisions
- Experienced and exceptional in the application of Client Centric Negotiation
- Effective and creative at balancing interests and synthesizing solutions
- Courage to deliver hard messages directly, both internally and externally
- Exceptional executive presence and ability to manage senior stakeholders
- Seasoned resource experienced working on problem projects
- Deep understanding of root cause trends and project remediation
- Engaging personality able to build relationships
- Powerful storyteller
- Financial acumen and good business judgement
- Knowledge of Accenture

Education and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required. Advanced degree preferred.
- Member of World Commerce and Contracting (WCC) or National Contract Management Association (NCMA) and/ or professional certification considered a plus.
- Travel may be required
