Indians truly love their Bollywood movies and superstars. One of the most common spare time activity of people is to go watch a film whether it be in a fancy VIP movie theatre or a small local cinema. Bollywood seems to bring people together as everyone – rich and poor, men and women, people in the countryside and in the cities – know Salman Khan, Priyanka Chopra, Amitabh and other Bollywood superstars.

Lately Forbes India listed the top Indian celebrities by their fame and earnings and the same familiar Bollywood faces were ruling: the top three included Shah Rukh Khan with the highest annual earnings (257,5 crore = around 35 million euros) and Amitabh with the highest fame rank.
