Henkel cultivates in-house talent by skilling up

To compete in today’s marketplace, Henkel knew that it had to foster innovation from within. In partnership with Accenture, Henkel created a comprehensive program for assessing and teaching digital skills while revamping internal recruiting efforts to make sure talent is nurtured—and always ready to innovate.

In just 18 weeks, Accenture and Henkel successfully implemented a new learning management system. Henkel employees across 10 job families voluntarily participated in an anonymous assessment of their skills. We then created and deployed e-learning courses to underpin the award winning rapid digital upskilling.

CalSAWS takes first step in cloud journey

In 2023, California is slated to complete a single, cloud-based system—known as California Statewide Automated Welfare System (CalSAWS)—to support integrated eligibility across all 58 counties.

With an aggressive deadline, California is moving from three legacy integrated eligibility systems to a single statewide, cloud-based application. Accenture is supporting the project and has successfully met the first major milestone: moving the core of the new system into the AWS Cloud.

A digital strategy for the future comes home

The Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation (CMHC) believes that having a home provides the foundation for a thriving society. But outdated systems prevented CMHC from adapting to the digital age and limited the effectiveness of its employees. CMHC worked with Accenture to undergo a complete business and technology transformation, eliminating redundant software applications and siloes and supporting the launch of 13 housing programs as part of the country’s first National Housing Strategy.
