Role Description:

As part of the broad services portfolio provided by Accenture, we help our clients with driving more value out of Network Modelling and Footprint Definition. This includes supporting our clients with their end-to-end Supply Chain model, optimize total costs of ownership, fulfill the service level agreements with customers, and work with multiple stakeholders. Logistics is a key category across within our services offering; we are looking for a Network Modelling Manager that leads the Manufacturing and Distribution footprint analysis for world class companies. The main tasks of the role are:

  • Work with key stakeholders to understands needs and requirements, and drive project success

  • Ensuring support of Requests for Proposals (RFP) and additional sourcing efforts (Request for Information – RFIs) which align with business strategies and regional needs

  • Current Supply Chain model baselining for Manufacturing and/or Distribution, to stablish basis for defining future brownfield/greenfield analysis

  • Geographic assessment of service coverage, cost drivers and operational levers to stablish future processing locations (from Manufacturing and Distribution perspective)

  • Capex and Opex evaluation to understand future investments and impairments required to sustain global logistics networks growth

  • Sensitivity analysis and scenario modelling, ensuring final results and recommendation resilience and robustness

  • Develop and implement the policies, procedures and workflows by executing the global end-to-end supply chain strategy

  • Closely work with in each country to understand the local market and advocate the strategic solutions accordingly

  • Develop/present implementation roadmaps, plans & deep dives to exceed critical business goals

  • Analysis: Insightfulness into techniques and trends that can support commercially excellent decision making. Rigor in running and maintaining global processes

  • Keep track of relevant market developments, regulations, and innovations

  • Provide expertise input for Business Development activities

Professional skills requirements

  • Must have 6+ years of general Supply Chain experience in Manufacturing, Sourcing & Procurement, Logistics and Distribution and Planning in large, multinational companies

  • High level of English. Knowledge of other languages, especially German or French would be an asset

  • Strong analytical and modeling skills

  • Work independently in client facing situations as well as part of larger project teams in the Supply Chain business processes

  • Manufacturing and logistics analytics and model experience in an FMCG, Pharmaceutical, Metals & Mining, Automotive, Healthcare, Retail or White Goods industry

  • Prior experience leading a team of professionals in a multifaceted global environment is critical.

  • Excellent knowledge of all Microsoft office tools

  • Good knowledge of Llamasoft or any other Network Modelling software

  • Strong analytical and communication skills

  • Proven leadership and teamwork qualities

  • A persistent attention to detail

  • The ability to maintain a focus on simplicity while dealing with complex challenges

  • The ability to recognize, attract and develop talent
