Data Foundations Consultant for Supply Chain

Role:
As an Experienced Consultant in Supply Chain Data Foundations (Data Strategy, Data Governance, Data Modelling, Data Engineering, Data Architecture and Visualization), you will play a pivotal role in enabling our clients to build and scale robust data foundations that drive supply chain optimization. You will lead innovative projects, support local Accenture teams, and work directly with clients to transform their supply chain operations through data-driven insights and cutting-edge technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of supply chain data foundation projects, ensuring alignment with client objectives and industry best practices.
- Understand Clients’ supply chain data needs and challenges.
- Design and implement scalable data architectures to support supply chain needs.
- Develop data pipelines, ensure data quality, and integrate diverse data sources to provide actionable insights.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including data engineers, data scientists, and supply chain domain experts.
- Outline and structure the project tasks and best approach, along with team senior members, from the detailed understanding of client’s problem statement and their specific business requirements.
- Mentor and upskill more junior team members on supply chain data foundations and best practices.
- Contribute to the development of tools, frameworks, and assets to accelerate delivery and value creation.
- Support Management team on client proposals and other sales activities.
- Ability to work collaboratively and effectively with offshore development teams and provide guidance to ensure quality deliverables.
Skills you will need:
- 5+ years of experience in Data Foundations (Data Strategy, Data Governance, Data Modelling, Data Engineering, Data Architecture and Visualization), specially on Supply Chian.
- Expertise in building and managing data pipelines, data lakes, and data warehouses using cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Strong understanding of supply chain processes, including procurement, logistics, inventory management, and demand planning.
- Proficiency in data modeling, ETL processes, and data integration techniques.
- Hands-on experience with tools such as SQL, Python and modern data visualization platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Proven track record of delivering successful data-driven projects in a consulting or corporate environment.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Willingness to travel eventually across EMEA.
- Familiarity with SAP, Oracle, or other ERP systems.
- Master’s degree in mathematics, Engineering, Data Science or related fields.
- Knowledge of full life cycle development methodologies.
