The SOC Architect/Senior Consultant is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining an effective security architecture for a SOC ecosystem. The role requires a deep understanding of security technologies, threat landscape, industry good practices, and a strategic mindset to build and enhance the ecosystem.
They collaborate closely with the leadership, analysts, engineers, administrators, and other stakeholders to develop and execute a robust security strategy. They are responsible for designing and implementing the appropriate security solutions that effectively detect, prevent, and respond to threats.

Requisitos
8x5 Role
Collaborate with stakeholders to design and develop the overall security architecture for the SOC ecosystem, including network segmentation, access controls, intrusion detection and prevention systems, security information and event management (SIEM) systems, and other security technologies
Design and implement effective monitoring and alerting mechanisms to detect and respond to security incidents in a timely manner
Evaluate, select, and integrate various security tools and technologies into the SOC ecosystem to enhance threat detection, incident response, and overall security posture
Ensure seamless integration and interoperability between different security tools and systems
Develop, implement and enforce security policies, standards, and guidelines aligned with industry good practice and compliance requirements
Stay updated with the latest security trends, vulnerabilities, and emerging threats to proactively address security gaps
Collaborate with the training team to develop and deliver security awareness programs, training sessions, and workshops for SOC analysts and other stakeholders
Create comprehensive technical documentation, architectural diagrams, and reports related to the security SOC infrastructure
