Manage the preparation and timely filing of corporate tax returns, VAT, IAE, WHT and Payroll along with the corresponding accounting transactions to ensure accurate financial reporting

            Supervise Controllership team Specialists ensuring Accenture compliance local tax returns, payments and amendments

            Provide oversight and review payroll tax processing and reporting for accuracy, review error corrections

            Manage the preparation of reconciliation of USGAAP and Corporate tax return

            Monitor cross border transactions and fullfill any reporting requirements in this regards

Key Responsibilities

            Analyze tax laws and their application to Accenture; monitor laws for changes affecting Accenture

            Review compliance policies to ensure proper compliance

            Interact with Global Tax to ensure overall tax compliance

            Interact with Global Tax to discuss Tax authorities disputes

            Interact with Global Tax representative during tax audits

            Investigate and document company transactions to obtain information relative to tax audits

            Provide support on Transfer Pricing documentation

            Handle tax jurisdiction notices

            Provide guidance related to tax liabilities and assist Country Controller with external auditors discussions.

            Review tax returns and/or related documents in order to ensure proper completion of forms, attachments of supporting documentation and accuracy of mathematical calculations; making necessary corrections to tax documents

            Supervise VAT reports to enable filing of VAT returns

            Review VAT accounts reconciliation process (input and output ), reconciliation items and discrepancies with information reported by our vendors and clients

            Prepare and monitor tax accruals

            Reconcile book/tax assets basis discrepancies

            Review and provide input to payroll tax process, develop local accounting process

            Oversee compliant execution of Payroll processes, including internal controls. Provide input to ET&I to ensure local governance and process controls are documented

            Oversee general ledger account reconciliations related to payroll compliance

            Assist and review payroll reconciliation4s with statutory accounting.

            Assist the specialist in the implementation of strategies for new processes

            Provide reporting to management on issues, projects and processing statistics

            Provide support on preparation of Tax forecasts

            Provide oversight to preparation of, and remit Market Unit specific Tax Payments & file Statutory reporting

            Research tax issues from other teams and for auditing purposes

            Carry out tasks to develop and attain team objectives

            Provide guidance in the identification of issues and development of solutions related to quality customer service

            Cover other roles and responsibilities within the team as required

            External Relationships:  Tax Advisors and/or Tax Auditors and/or Tax Authorities



Requisitos

Qualifications

            Education:  Undergraduate Degree in Accounting or Finance

            Recommended Certifications, Licenses, etc:  CPA or equivalent

            Work Experience:  6+ years tax experience

            Work Requirements:  Dependent upon whether job is located in country or in the Service Center, specific work requirements may be documented at the position level
