The Barcelona Innovation Center has been at the forefront in helping clients from around the globe and across industries under the umbrella of intelligent operations for the last 15 years. We develop cutting-edge assets and solutions related to supply chain, life sciences, health and now Talent & Organization Analytics.

Our team is composed of over 120 data scientists and Data Engineers with specialized background in Supply Chain & Operations, 20% of which are PhD’s in the areas of Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics or Statistics. All that knowledge, combined with Accenture’s business experience especially withing the Talent and Organization functional capability, fosters an environment that allows us to quickly react to changing business conditions and provide tailored solution for our client’s needs.

The current opportunity aims to develop the Talent & Organization Analytics capability in Europe. Developing the offering inside our team, supported by more than 100 Data Scientists and 30 experts within T&O. We intend to become a referent for T&O Analytics in Europe - and globally. We are looking for someone who can leverage on his/her expertise to generate trusted and durable relationships with clients and ecosystem partners.

Role & Responsibilities

Your role will be to work hands on at analytics projects focused on Talent & Organization  and supporting the development of the Talent and Organization Analytics offering in Europe. You will be working for the Applied Intelligence team and collaborating closely with the Capability Network. You will be responsible for the development of algorithms as well as to support at client proposals and collaborate at  innovation initiatives.

Your objective would be to help clients optimize their people processes and think strategically for the future by using state-of-the-art operations research techniques.

Your role will require the supervision of the extraction, wrangling and enrichment of data from one or multiple sources, online or offline. Moreover, you’ll be responsible for the design, implementation, and validation of the developed solutions, and the visualization of the data and model results through dynamic dashboards.

Your responsibilities will be:

  • Work with HR (and non HR) Data to help deliver key predictive and inferential models to the business.

  • Understand Talent & Organization business problems and translate them into models that drive result. Quickly understand new data sources and finding quick ways to extract information from them for modeling and inference purposes

  • Work with functional and technical teams to bring developed models from exploration to deployment

  • Depending on the project, supervise or develop the management and manipulation of data sets, including variables definition, performing calculations and summarizations, and creating solutions to address client business needs

  • Be able to develop and code Machine Learning or other advanced statistical methods that may be the most useful for HR processes.

  • Be able to interrogate data sources and modeling approaches taking care of ethics and bias

  • Test models for fairness and bias and being conscious of the many ways in which bias can affect processes.

  • Outline and structure the project tasks and best approach, from the detailed understanding of client’s problem statement and their specific business requirements

  • Understand Statistical analysis/programming and be able to articulate and defend analytics solution in front of Business and Technical Stakeholders

  • Demonstrate a high degree of ownership, accountability for your output and commitment to the task

  • Mentor and train other junior developers and modelers

  • Work collaboratively and effectively with offshore development teams and provide guidance to ensure quality deliverables



We are looking for Analysts (2 years of demosntrate experience) or Consultants (4  years of experience minimum) to be part of the leading Strategy & Consulting practice in Talent & Operations Analytics. The candidate must demonstrate relevant experience developing  data-driven projects, programs, or initiatives in large companies. Suitable profiles shall be familiar with the delivery methods for industrialization of mentioned projects, as well as a working understanding of data science and data analysis methodologies for Human Capital processes. Experience in translating industry-related problems into mathematical formulations and process conceptual models.

Technical Skills:

  • Experience working with confidential/sensitive information

  • Machine Learning and survival analysis or genetic algorithms knowledge

  • Programming experience (Preferably Pyhton)

  • Cloud Knowledge (AWS or Azure)

  • HR software knowledge (Workday, Successfactors…)

  • Visualization tools knowledge (PowerBI, Tableau…)

  • Critical thinking and attention to detail

  • Be available to travel frequently

  • Ability to execute projects and bring innovation to our clients

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with ability to clearly communicate ideas and results on all organization levels

  • Drive, ambition, and initiative to help grow Accenture´s business at functional and Industry level

  • People development and team building skills

  • Fluent in English is mandatory, Spanish, German or French is a bonus
