The Software Developer Lead in collaboration with project team members, designs, develops, and tests new software solutions and new versions of existing MC software. Uses business requirements to document conceptual and technical designs. Understands and applies applicable design and coding standards. Builds packages and deploys software to integration environments. Supervises other developers in completing designs and fields technical questions from other developers, Product Management, Quality Assurance, and other departments. Perform code reviews and ensure security and performance considerations are communicated and adhered to. Inform the technical architect and project manager of any issues that may affect any other areas of the project. Provide development estimates for enhancement requests. Investigates and resolves bugs and deficiencies in the product codebase. Coordinate and participate in structured peer review walkthroughs. Builds and maintains internal tools to streamline the software development process and enhance productivity. Researches new software development concepts and makes suggestions for improvements. Create and integrate features for our enterprise software solution using the latest .NET technologies. Write web services, business objects, and other middle tier framework using the .NET framework. Actively participate in daily code reviews. Champion the unit testing initiatives and commitments for the Engineering team.

Qualifications

- Minimum 8 years software development experience 
- Minimum 8 years .NET / C#  
- Minimum 5 years TSQL or SQL 
- Minimum 2 year XML or XSL  
- Minimum 2 years experience leading a technical development team
- Minimum 2 year JavaScript  
- Minimum 2 year working within formal software development life cycle structure 

Professional skills
- Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills 
- Work on multiple projects concurrently
- Ability to design and implement flexible, scalable solutions to a wide variety of problems.

Preferred Qualifications: 

Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent 

- ASP.NET experience  

- IIS administration experience 

- Service oriented architecture experience 

- Team Foundation Server 

- AJAX
- SQL Server Integration Services 

- LINQ
- Automated unit testing 

- MS SQL Reporting Services 

- Agile Scrum 

- Mortgage industry knowledge
