Gene Reznik is the senior managing director for the Accenture Technology Ecosystem & Ventures organization. Mr. Reznik is responsible for leading all facets of the Accenture ecosystem and venturing lifecycle–setting strategy, forming and managing strategic partnerships, developing relationships with venture capital firms and start-ups, and driving the Accenture innovation agenda.
Throughout his more than 20-year career with Accenture, Mr. Reznik has held a number of global leadership positions across Accenture’s Communications, Media & Technology (CMT) operating group.
Prior to his current role, he was the group technology officer for CMT. In this capacity, Mr. Reznik was responsible for leading the technology agenda for the group globally, which included defining the CMT technology strategy, overseeing current and future technology partnerships and developing emerging technology areas. Mr. Reznik previously led the CMT business in Asia Pacific, served as global managing director of Accenture’s Communications industry group and led the CMT global strategy practice.
Throughout his career, Mr. Reznik has led high-profile engagements with some of the world’s largest organizations. He has developed Accenture’s thought leadership across technology and strategy, and has been a frequent speaker at industry conferences.
Mr. Reznik joined Accenture in 1994 and became a partner in 2003. He holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Northwestern University and a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Chicago.
*On August 1, 2018, Accenture announced that Gene Reznik will become chief strategy officer, succeeding Omar Abbosh who will become group chief executive – Communications, Media & Technology. These changes are effective September 1, 2018.
