As a Technology Consulting Analyst in Resources, I support our clients who work with renewable energy and utilities on their transformation journey towards a future where emerging technologies and sustainability go hand in hand. The purpose is to unlock even greater value for their customers. I can be involved in both strategic activities as well as those related to actual implementations. Currently, I am a generalist which means that I am exposed to a lot of different technologies and projects – truly a great learning opportunity and well-aligned with my general passion for technology. As a Technology Consulting Analyst, I need to understand both the people, process, and technology aspects of projects as they are highly interrelated. My primary responsibility is to provide advice on the technological aspects balanced neatly with managerial perspectives - i.e., my work tasks are not deeply, hands-on technical; fortunately, Accenture has many skilled people who can compliment me on such areas.
If I should point to one thing that I like the most about Accenture, it would definitely be the people. It is truly motivating to be surrounded by so many talented, ambitious, intelligent, and kindhearted people daily. They are all people who I enjoy working with professionally as well as spending time with personally.
