What I do

The main focus in the work that I do as Software Engineering Senior Manager is to help our clients in the various aspects of software delivery. From the tools that are used to build and update the software, to the ways of working around it and also the organizational structure that can best support the delivery of software.

 

One of the most exciting projects I have worked on was actually the very first one when I joined in 2013, and I think that it was because of the focus we had on delivering the solution to the client and the team spirit. Since then, I have had quite a few exciting projects, ranging from multi-year implementation projects to strategy and advisory projects that lasted a few months.

A day in my life

During Covid-19 times, a day in my life has changed considerably, but the core of it still remains somewhat the same. Most days are a mix of working with my teams to ensure that we are doing all we can to deliver value to our clients and also reach out across our organization to share knowledge and together find ways to address the challenges and opportunities we face.

 

I think that our purpose at Accenture ‘To deliver on the promise of technology and human ingenuity’ really captures the reason why I like working here. It is the intersection of leveraging technologies together with awesome colleagues in order to help our clients that keeps me excited about working at Accenture!

 

In my spare time, I really enjoy reading, mostly non-fiction related to Leadership, Culture, and Psychology but sometimes sci-fi as well. However, a good chunk of my time and energy goes into triathlon training. I have done an Ironman some years ago, and I am hoping that I will be able to do another one in 2021.

My advice

My advice for people interested in the work I do is to reach out to others within their network or outside of it. They are welcome to reach out to me! In my experience, people are quite often open to talk and share experiences over a cup of coffee, virtual or otherwise.
