Job Description
As a Contract Specialist, you’ll manage contracts to maximize value for Accenture and our clients. You’ll work closely with business units and project teams, with client interaction, and help guide junior and/or offshore colleagues.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership/Engagement:
Lead or join contract management teams on various projects, ensuring effective collaboration and communication.
Support client engagement teams with day-to-day contract management, understanding delivery requirements, and providing high-quality advice.
Drive process efficiency and seek innovative ways to improve team performance, showcasing the value of the contract management function.
Risk & Issue Management:
Report and document commercial and contract risks and issues, coordinating with contract management leads to resolve open actions.
Escalate matters in a timely and controlled manner, ensuring affected parties are appropriately notified.
Drafting of legal documents and reviewing communication and reports in compliance with contract management processes and account delivery requirements.
Sales Support:
Provide support for pre-award sales activities, including developing responses to client RFPs, drafting contract schedules, and participating in negotiations.
Demonstrate a basic knowledge of Accenture’s offerings and associated commercial considerations.
Contracting, Drafting, and Negotiation:
Assist with drafting and reviewing contractual documents such as Statements of Work, Change Requests, Arrangement Letters, Subcontracts, and Non-Disclosure Agreements.
Participate in negotiations, ensuring that all contractual terms are clear and beneficial for all parties involved.
Commercial and Contract Management Processes:
Implement and administer contract management processes, providing day-to-day support on specific projects or accounts.
Ensure compliance with all relevant policies and procedures, communicating these to relevant personnel.
Work with delivery and finance leads to identify and apply appropriate contract levers affecting revenue, cost, and profit.
Qualifications
Requirements:
Educational Background:
A relevant educational background is required.
Experience:
Minimum of 4 years of experience in contract management, particularly with complex deals.
Proven team management experience, with the ability to mentor and supervise junior staff.
Knowledge:
Basic understanding of commercial contracting regulations and legal principles.
Skills:
Strong time management, prioritization, and organizational skills.
Excellent communication skills in English and Danish, both oral and written.
Ability to build trust-based relationships with clients and internal teams.
