Currently, we are looking for two experienced team members to join our Nordic Life Sciences Strategy group.  Life Sciences is a transforming industry due to legislative and regulatory demands, technology challenges, and societal trends.  Accenture Life Sciences Strategy helps leading Life Sciences organizations shape and drive their plans for growth and innovation, competitiveness, new operating models, talent and leadership, and digital transformation.  Our growing Nordic Life Sciences team provides strategy consulting services to leading Nordic pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical technology companies to improve agility and deliver tangible outcomes to address their most complex business challenges. We work across key Life Sciences agendas including outcomes based business and go-to-market models, digital disruption, predictive health, agile product development and strategic cost takeout. 


In your role, you will bring your business strategy development expertise to deliver solutions to help leading Nordic Life Sciences clients excel in the marketplace.  We expect you to be a Life Sciences professional with proven success working in the intersection of R&D and commercial with in-depth knowledge of the R&D value chain from early development to product launch and life cycle management. You will be able to partner with our clients to make decisions on priority issues at the intersection of business, technology and operations through your understanding of the clients’ industry landscape and business options in the context of the global trends.  You will architect and deliver solutions and provide sales support within the Nordic Life Sciences practice. You add credibility to Accenture's reputation during the sales process and deep expertise through delivery phase. In addition, you will contribute to and lead asset/offering development and thought leadership activities.


A professional at this position level within Accenture has the following responsibilities:


  • Provides solutions to complex business problems where analysis of situations requires an in depth knowledge of organizational objectives.
  • Drives methodology and frameworks for solution development.
  • Has latitude in decision-making and determining objectives and approaches to critical assignments.
  • Manages teams and/or work efforts at a client.
  • Interacts with senior management levels at a client and/or within Accenture, which involves negotiating or influencing on significant matters.
  • Involved in setting strategic direction and driving Nordic Life Sciences sales.


We prefer you to have:

  • Minimum of 6 years of recent experience in Life Sciences sector working in strategy consulting or directly within the industry (e.g. pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, and diagnostic companies)
  • A background that combines multi-disciplinary skills with functional expertise within the Life Sciences industry, for example one of the following: R&D program/project management, innovation management, brand or product marketing, channel marketing, launch management, business development
  • Knowledge of Life Sciences R&D and/or commercial organizations, business processes, stakeholder types and data and systems to aid analyses and recommendations
  • Ability to assess the R&D and/or commercial environment, identify capability gaps, develop strategy & vision and build roadmaps
  • Project delivery experience with proficiency in planning and directing teams of resources and interacting with a complex network of stakeholders
  • Ability to establish or maintain client relationships with key decision makers that drive new business development.
  • Experience in working in a global environment and leveraging expertise from an international network
  • Ability to travel to clients
  • You need to have free mobility in Europe
