Trade Compliance Governance & Controls Senior Manager (all genders)

We are seeking a highly experienced Trade Compliance Governance & Controls Lead with over 15 years of experience in designing and implementing controls, monitoring, training, and communications for large, complex organizations. This key leadership role will drive Accenture's compliance with international trade control requirements and regulations across the countries where we operate.
Your Mission
As the Trade Compliance Governance & Controls Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of Trade Compliance Governance & Controls, including the strategic design and execution of our offshore Trade Compliance Hub. You will lead a team focused on critical areas such as Denied Party Screening, Trade Compliance review of Ventures & Acquisitions, New Business Advisory & Contracting Queries, and Post Merger Integration. Additionally, you will oversee the development and delivery of training, communications, policies, procedures, and monitoring/audit activities to ensure ongoing compliance and effective corrective actions.
Your daily work
Lead the design and implementation of control enhancements and process improvements, collaborating with Legal and Outside Counsel.
Establish and manage the Governance & Controls Function within Trade Compliance, including Denied Party Screening, Acquisition controls, and New Business Advisory across geographies.
Recruit and manage a team to execute controls, ensuring performance, continuous process improvement, and issue resolution with escalation when necessary.
Coordinate with Ethics & Compliance to maintain a compliance-driven environment and provide leadership on trade control laws and regulations.
Oversee training, upskilling, and career development for team members, and deliver regular reporting on key controls and trade-related risks to leadership.
Qualifikationen
Who you are
University degree (Master's or comparable level) in law or related field.
Extensive experience and knowledge of International Trade Controls and developing control programs, including policies, internal controls, and training.
Proven track record in managing complex change programs, process improvements, and prioritizing/escalating issues effectively.
Strong ability to manage multiple stakeholders and business interests, including senior management, while maintaining an independent and consistent approach.
Experience leading hybrid teams across multiple locations and the ability to work remotely with global clients and engage in contract negotiations.
Exceptional communication skills, fluent in English (and preferably German), with the ability to build relationships across all levels of management and staff, while assessing risk and presenting actionable recommendations to leadership.
