Your responsibilities
As an experienced IT professional who knows the ins and outs of the car industry and its trends (e. g. connected, autonomous, electric and shared mobility), you’ll be advising the top management of companies across the automotive sector on the strategic and technical management of digital transformation in the areas of R&D, manufacturing, supply chain, marketing, and sales.
Using the Microsoft technology platform and its vast ecosystem of partners, you’ll shape world-class business solutions for our clients and deliver them on scale.
In a nutshell: You’ll develop and implement new ideas and large-scale cloud architectures across the value chain, thereby helping our clients to improve standards, processes, compliance and value creation and to become more agile and resilient.
Of course, you’ll lead small teams of pre-sales solution architects and work with implementation teams from concept to delivery, both within Accenture and on the client’s premises. As soon as the current situation permits it, it will involve a lot of exciting business travelling.
A solid understanding of the fields of action in the mobility domain (on-demand services, IoT technologies etc.) is key. After thoroughly analyzing those, you’ll shape the future of the leading automobile manufacturers and suppliers in areas such as connected car, CASE & e-mobility, autonomous driving, or smart data, increasing their profitability.
What we’re looking forward to
Educational background: Professional training or university degree in (software) engineering, computer science, business, finances, technology or a related field
Profound leadership experience with complex digital transformation initiatives within the mobility (automotive and transportation) industry, management of manufacturing, supply chain, asset and data quality, field service and/or workforce
Very nice to have: Certifications in Azure AZ-900, Azure (Data) Fundamentals, DP-900 and other Microsoft Dynamics, 365 and/or Power Platform; recent experience in connected vehicle and/or automotive vertical solutions such as fleet management and vehicle sharing, data monetization and data driven digital transformation, intelligent customer service, smart machines/manufacturing, intelligent customer engagement etc.; familiarity with AUTOSAR, CASE & e-mobility technologies (e.g. charging & charging infrastructure, digital services and tools for PHEV & BEV), some years of experience with large-scare data solutions and architecture
Fluent in English; other languages are a plus (especially German and/or Russian)
You’re a creative problem-solver with an analytical mind and great communication, leadership and interpersonal skills.
