People in our Client Delivery & Operations career track drive delivery and capability excellence through the design, development and/or delivery of a solution, service, capability or offering. They grow into delivery-focused roles, and can progress within their current role, laterally or upward.
 
The Team Lead- Copyright is responsible for daily supervision of SJC Copyright Operations team for timely and accurate management of copyright-related workflows. The Team Lead-Copyright will manage workforce, plan and assign tasks and team activities to meet the team goals and productivity targets. This also includes motivation of team members to create a collaborative and effective teamwork atmosphere to boost the performance of the entire team.
 
The Team Lead-Copyright also handles general operational management tasks and activities, including planning, analysis and reporting on all workflows. Strong organizational skills and leadership are important qualities to possess.
 
The overall objective of the role is to ensure that the team meets productivity and quality expectations given by the client.
 
Key Responsibilities will include:
  • Analysis and management of copyright-related workflows
  • Preparation and conduction of team meetings
  • General staff management duties, including attendance, timecards, vacation approvals, scheduling, overtime etc.
  • Coordination of support staff (including SMEs, QAs and trainers) for effective implementation of their duties
  • Following agent-level quality and productivity, identifying PIP candidates
  • Interviewing of new agents’ candidates
  • Communication with staffing agencies
  • Preparing, analyzing and interpreting complex reports information and formulation of conclusions
  • Presentation of weekly results to the project management team and clients
  • Coordination of new agents’ onboarding as well as job exit processes
  • Design and performance of overall team quality management activities (help desk, 1on1s etc.)
  • Effective management of client relationships within a defined area of responsibility
  • Planning and assigning all work assignments, committing the team to the work, managing the quality of the work and driving people management activities within the team
  • Making decisions about the day to day operation of the group
  • Acting as technical and functional resource and subject matter expert for all the team members
  • Acting as point of contact for project management team and clients

 

Basic Qualifications: 
  • Minimum of 2 years supervisory experience
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Copyright Operations workflows
  • Understanding of effective management styles and techniques
  • Proficiency in MS Office and related google suite tools
  • Leadership, communication and presentation skills
  • Analytical and problem-solving mindset
  • Critical thinking and decision making
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities
  • Ability to work with and accommodate agents with different backgrounds, skill sets, and working styles
