What advice would you give to a woman who's considering a career at Accenture?
If you are looking for an organization that can excite you every day, and allows you to deliver your best in everything you do - Accenture is the place to be!

What's the best piece of advice you've ever received and want to share?
You drive your career at Accenture. If you are passionate about what you do, and strive to bring the best the organization gives you every opportunity to grow and excel.

How do you integrate your work life and personal life?
Accenture gives you lot of flexibility that allows you to do that – e.g. spending majority of week on location away from home office, you can work from home on a Friday. There are kids rooms you can use in office facilities for days when you have no family support for kids - get them to work with you!

Describe your role at Accenture Digital.
I’m working for Accenture Digital Mobility. As a Solution Architect I’m responsible to develop custom-built software products for and together with my clients. I have the technical background to determine what kind of development architecture fits the needs and I have the methodology background to coach effectively in agile and Scrum.

When and why did you join Accenture Digital?
I joined Accenture 2010 with the Jump Start for Java Software Development. I worked until 2015 as a Senior Software Engineer and was responsible for building innovative software in a green-field environment. Since then I’m a Solution Architect building innovative development architectures and I’m also an agile coach.
I joined Accenture Digital to be surrounded by inspiring people that are also keen to learn more about innovative technology and to bring the best solutions to our clients.

What’s unique about Accenture’s culture that enables you to create, innovate, research or lead effectively?
The ‘Accenture way’ is described as a unique culture how we do things. We have a flat hierarchy and it’s possible to talk with everyone in the company about your vision and about your ideas. Your colleagues are keen to help you if they think that your vision or your ideas are good and you can get a lot of support on your way.

What's the best piece of advice you've ever received and want to share?
“Where your focus goes, your energy flows” - Our focus is a very powerful tool to either motivate or demotivate us. Focus on what you want, where you are going and what you are actively creating rather than focus on negativity. Be thankful for what you have achieved so far and focus on your vision and the next steps to go.

I am working in the SAP Analytics Area with a strong focus on SAP HANA native development.

What advice would you give to a woman who's considering a career at Accenture?
Accenture is a good place to grow your career as for its many opportunities, but it’s still you who drives your career and makes it happen. You need to take care of your career, no one else will do that for you. Set your goals, and follow them.

What’s unique about Accenture’s culture that enables you to create, innovate, research or lead effectively?
Accenture’s big benefit is its people. It’s always been like this and I hope it will always stay that way. We have an open mind set and welcome the change that is naturally connected with our work. I like the moment coming into a new project and you are welcomed like an old friend from people you did not know before, that’s our culture.

What’s your most memorable “We” moment at Accenture?
The team spirit in our global core schools was for me always very inspiring as it stands for our core value “one global network”. It is amazing to see that you can work with anyone around the globe and we are all speaking the same language in terms of project methodology.

How do you integrate your work life and personal life?
I work at 80% currently to be more available for my family. I can work a lot remote as my leadership is spread across ASG anyway.
