Owen Jelf is Accenture's senior managing director for Capital Markets, responsible for the industry group's overall vision and strategy, investment priorities and supporting network of alliance partners.
Mr. Jelf specializes in delivering major technology and business change programs in the investment banking industry. With more than 26 years of experience, he has large-scale program management, technology delivery, outsourcing and contracting expertise, as well as functional expertise of front-office, operations and enterprise functions in complex global delivery models and across a number of asset classes.
Mr. Jelf has held various leadership positions since joining Accenture in 1988. He led Accenture Trading Services, which helps capital markets clients achieve high performance in trading.
He also leads global sales for Accenture Post-Trade Processing, a technology and business process outsourcing solution that helps banks reduce post-trade processing costs. He led Accenture’s Capital Markets business in the UK from 2006-2010, managing relationships with investment banks, asset managers, hedge funds, clearing houses and exchanges.
He has worked with many key industry players and led Accenture’s relationship with one of the world’s largest wealth management and investment banking firms.
Mr. Jelf is a graduate of St. Catherine’s College, Oxford, in Chemistry. He is based in London.
