The role of a Manager for the Consumer Goods & Services Industry portfolio in Accenture is a key role with a primary focus on overseeing and driving growth within the CG&S sector. It is crucial role in shaping the Accenture presence and impact within the industry. This involves a combination of strategic thinking, business development, effective team collaboration, and financial stewardship.

Role responsibilities:

  • Actively contribute to development of CZ Strategy & Consulting practice.

  • Pro-actively identify & pursue business development opportunities with CZ & CEE CG&S clients and prospects (food & beverages, other FMCG).

  • Develop & deliver compelling client proposals to grow our CG&S practice.

  • Lead or participate in delivery of relevant consulting and system integration projects to clients, namely in CZ & CEE region.

  • Orchestrate work of Accenture service groups to bring the best value to our clients.

  • Manage project financials and project administration to ensure profitable and compliant delivery.

  • Develop team by hiring and coaching to grow the capacity and skills/capabilities of our CG&S practice.

  • Foster motivation and engagement of our colleagues.

Qualifications

We would like our applicants to have:

  • University degree (preferrable MSc / MBA related to Management/Economics/IT)

  • 5+ years’ experience in management / technology consulting (in a consulting company or relevant experience with project management in any company) 

  • 4+ years’ experience in the CG&S sector, preferably in food & beverages

  • Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills, especially in building trusted relationships with clients

  • Self-motivated and proactive approach, experience in sales opportunity identification, leading RFP responses including client negotiation rounds 

  • Ability to identify and assess complex problems, predict potential problems and timely implement preventive measures

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, being able to present complex ideas in a clear and easy-to-understand way 

  • Independent and prompt decision-making, thinking outside of the box, adaptability and agility

  • Fluent English and Czech/Slovak language (spoken & written)

  • Ability to meet client travel requirements, when applicable
