Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Global Innovation Network teams to efficiently identify and support first impression innovation legal issues.
- Support Accenture’s Ventures & Open Innovation team to review prospective investment target technology and to implement post-investment relationship strategies.
- Working with the Technology Incubation team to assess potential early stage services and products to identify relevant risks and appropriate risk mitigation strategies.
- Identify legal and regulatory risks and develop mitigation and self-regulating governance strategies, in collaboration with colleagues across the business, GSL and the wider Accenture Legal team.
- Developing guidance and training materials for the Innovation teams and other Legal teams including those responsible for client-facing contracting.
Qualifications
Knowledge Skills and Experience
- 8+ years relevant experience in a corporate or law firm setting.
- Experience analyzing complex facts and situations to provide risk analysis and mitigation strategies
- Understanding of or willingness to learn about regulatory frameworks that may apply to the innovations, including with respect to data protection and privacy
- Track record of developing trusted relationships with senior business leaders
- Experience shaping deals and evaluating innovative commercial models for new product and service offerings

Education and Qualifications
- Education: JD or equivalent degree or legal qualification and admitted to the bar (or local equivalents) in good standing or otherwise authorized to practice law
