CORE and Global Services Legal (CGS) is a group of legal professionals working and supporting different legal areas such as Compliance, Regulatory Offerings, Ethics, Procurement, Corporate Matters and the Services Areas aligned with the new offerings and technologies such as S&C, Interactive, Technology, Security and Operations.

S&C Role Summary – Our vision is to provide Global Industries & Enterprise Functions (I&EF) Sector Leads with a legal partner to enable growth and support the “One Accenture” vision and we are seeking to appoint counsel to act as Offerings & Product Counsel to join our team and help achieve that vision. As part of this role, you will interact with multiple and specialized legal and business stakeholders across different geographies, deal with innovative solutions and cutting-edge technologies and support experts within the scope of the designated I&EF. The role requires you to act with strategic thinking throughout the lifecycle of existing and new products and offerings across I&EF as well as providing legal guidance to sales & delivery teams.  


Generic Responsibilities

  • Understand S&C area needs and priorities, strategy, objectives, and opportunities. 
  • Suggest, and help develop process improvements.
  • Help create checklists, playbook, guidance and process documents.
  • Identify and help drive trainings for the team for upskilling and professional development
  • Support implementation of new initiatives in Global Services, Legal/GLN.
  • Drive recruitment efforts for the team.
  • Effectively manage direct reports and any assigned team and deliver quick conflict resolution.
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to junior members of the GLN team.

Specific Responsibilities aligned to Role

  • Collaborate across teams and support legal clearance of existing and new software and data services and solutions by providing practical input into legal risk analyses, mitigation strategies (contractual, operational, technical) and product support in compliance with company policies until go to market and/or during the lifecycle of such products & offerings.
  • Support the Business as a strategic partner and trusted adviser to enable growth of the S&C business.
  • Review inbound technology and data supply templates/agreements and outbound or client facing templates in different geographies, industries and regulatory environments.
  • Advise on data management issues and responsible use of data for products and services, including artificial intelligence or machine learning technology.
  • Independently handle the communication with internal clients, business teams and stakeholders on various legal matters such as Open-Source Governance, NDAs, Evaluation agreements, SaaS agreements, Software licenses, MSAs, Data sourcing, Sponsorship, and Vendor Agreements.
  • Support the development of clear communication messages, guidance, templates and trainings regarding the products and services and related use of data for other legal, sales and go to market, development, and technical teams.
  • Work with Accenture’s regulatory and compliance counsel to provide and apply regulatory and compliance advice, including future-looking projections of any anticipated regulatory changes potentially impacting the business.
  • Coordinate & perform research of laws and regulations or technical aspects.
  • Execute tasks with autonomy and good judgement, independently providing effective solutions to encountered complexities.
  • Lead specific ad-hoc projects, coordinating team members and aligning with other areas.
  • Take on assignments as required by the designated I&EF Legal Lead, and/or the Global Legal Lead for S&C.




  • Bachelor’s degree in Law

Work Experience:

  • Minimum of 6 years of experience at law firm or as in-house counsel and/or in legal outsourcing

Work Requirements:

  • Travel may be required
  • Fluency in English (and other language, depending on geography supported) with strong oral and written communication skills.


  • Experience of working with international teams in a global business and a passion for supporting innovative technology and taking products and services to market are pre-requisites
  • Good understanding of relevant company policies and experience in contract drafting including NDAs, and commercial agreements including MSAs, SaaS agreements and Software Licenses
  • Demonstrate very good interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrate autonomy, take ownership, and drive tasks to closure
  • Strong time management, prioritization, organizational, and analytical skills
  • Able to work with internal and external teams, and understands delivery requirements
  • Able to independently lead projects and teams on function specific processes
  • Good understanding of corporate business practices and contracting regulations
  • Comfortable with technology and has experience in the use of tools & databases
  • Ability to work under pressure, with exposure to senior leadership
  • Effectively manage priorities and stakeholder expectations
  • Build trust-based relationships by delivering on commitments.
