Business Process Services professionals work on projects across a range of business processes, business applications and information technology.  They may provide technology services, such as application management, infrastructure management and systems integration, or they may deliver business process services, including finance and accounting, procurement and human resources. Depending on the role, Business Process Services professionals may be based at a client’s office or in one of Accenture’s 50 delivery centers around the world. 

You Are:

As the Global Procurement Enablement Senior Manager, you will be responsible to define the strategy and establish the global practices and global working model for Procurement Enablement Services (PES). You will work with our clients to drive P2P efficiencies via enabling touchless transactions using best practices in catalog usage, e-invoicing, buying channel strategy, etc while working on leading P2P technologies like Ariba, Coupa, Tradeshift, etc. You will be accountable for the performance, chargeability & growth of the Procurement Enablement team globally.  In addition, you will support business development opportunities for Enablement Services via solutioning inputs for staffing, due diligence efforts & client presentations (i.e. Orals).  Beyond team management & business development responsibilities, you will also provide governance to the complex client programs at global levels and transform the delivery of strategic aspects of the client’s procurement operations for the “as is” state to the “future state” ensuring there is a clear roadmap for Enablement Practice success globally. You will also be responsible to assist in developing and career tracking resources in the global PES team.

The Work:

  • Work with the key stakeholders (internal & external) to drive P2P efficiencies, help client achieve their business goals, solution productivity assumptions, etc
  • Enable and manage team driving enablement services
  • Provide governance and for complex engagements, act as the client’s Subject Matter Expert for supplier enablement, vendor management, content enablement, contract admin, eInvoicing, buying channel analysis, change management, adoption of the enablement program, compliance to buying channel
  • Design and implement governance structure to ensure successful enablement program implementation for clients
  • Manage global Enablement leads by ensuring strong client performance, monitor chargeability, forecast/fulfill hiring requirements & continual capability growth of the team.
  • Collaborate with global solutioning team and account team on upcoming global enablement deals & facilitate cross-regional chargeability utilization when required.
  • Support Solution Architects & Sales Leads with business development opportunities. Manage Enablement staffing requests & participate in due diligence/client presentations.
  • Drive ongoing innovation in how the enablement offering is positioned to clients & executed across our onshore & offshore teams.
  • Guide the team to prepare materials for the Delivery Center(s) and Client Delivery Leads to ensure they understand the scope, approach, processes, and client specific requirements
  • Act as a PES subject matter expert and facilitate and / or manage (as appropriate) interactions with the following:
    • Accenture Operations Account Leadership, ensuring all contractual / SLA obligations are documented, understood, and met
    • Accenture Operations mobilization and technology colleagues for the solution design and testing as well as the technical requirements for content, eInvoicing, contract administration and related vendor data
    • Delivery Centers and Client Delivery colleagues to ensure operational excellence and continuous improvement with client programs

Here’s What You Need:

·        Bachelor’s Degree

·        Minimum of 15 years of procurement / operations / consulting experience

·        Minimum of 5 years of people management, supervisory or mentoring experience

·        Minimum of 5 years of functional experience with P2P tools like Ariba, Coupa, Tradeshift, etc

·        Exceptional track record of building relationships with stakeholders that have resulted in high customer satisfaction

·        Knowledge of our end-to-end enablement process (technology, enablement strategy, execution) and inclination towards process improvement

·        General business acumen and ability to manage overall enablement services for a portfolio of clients

·        Knowledge of how and when to escalate


Professional Skills:

·        Demonstrated capability working in a multi-function team environment, including effective influence management

·        Demonstrated ability to effectively lead Enablement services – supplier enablement, contract enablement, content management

·        Comfort with ambiguity and proven ability to figure things out

·        Ability to act independently and can interface with customers and suppliers via strong written and verbal communications skills

·        Proven ability to build, manage and foster a team-oriented environment

·        Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
