Job Description


• As a member of the CCS (Compute Connectivity Services) Digital Infrastructure Management (DIM) Strategy Team, create and align tools and technologies to support the CCS 2025 Vision

• Maintain basic knowledge of a broad range of current technological trends relevant to Accenture Infrastructure Services for Accenture (ISA)

• Review and test vendor products from market analysis and paper evaluation through proof-of-concept and recommendation

• Test products and integrations of tools in the CCS lab and cloud sandboxes

• Assist in creating the DIM blueprint for any new tools and solutions to proceed into pilot and then production deployment

• Participate in both long term projects and short term, accelerated projects to align with DIM Strategy principles and Accenture standards (e.g. Policies, Information Security, etc.)

• Create clear and measurable evaluation criteria and use cases to compare product and solution options and capabilities against requirements, policies and controls

• Liaise with DIM Service team members, other CCS teams and Information Security to help identify opportunities, define requirements and risks for existing and new products in the DIM tools landscape


Primary Skill:

Technical skills or operations background in some or all of the following infrastructure and/or application areas:

• Server/Network infrastructure and/or application monitoring tools

• Element and configuration management tools

• Orchestration and/or automation skills

• Cloud services (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS)

• Azure DevOps (VSTS)

• Application lifecycle management

• Application development

• Integration architectures

• Operations management

• One or more of the following: Terraform, Ansible, node.js, JavaScript, PowerShell, BASH, Python, .NET Framework, ServiceNow, Windows, Linux, Java, Groovy, Git, Jenkins, Octopus, IOS (Network)


Other Skills:

• Experience working in Agile and/or Scrum methodology

• Prior Accenture CIO or Infrastructure Services for Accenture (ISA) work experience preferred


Required Experience/Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g. Computer Science, Information Systems), or the equivalent work experience

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Strong technical aptitude

• Self-motivated and self-learning

• Ability to work effectively with multiple teams on multiple projects and drive successful outcomes of integrated efforts

• Awareness of best practice IT operations policies, processes and procedures 

• Ability to work independently with little or no daily supervision

• Ability to develop action plans based on high level direction from leadership

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Confident speaking to large audiences (>20 people)

• Ability to develop technical documentation, technical communications and project work plans

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Especially PowerPoint, Excel and Visio)
