Job Description

Responsible for identifying business developments from big data sources to enable faster and better decision making creating data science predictive models. Engages in supporting project teams in value added activities that generate practical solutions to complex business quandaries, explores new business alternatives, and drives improvement in business decisions through product and data knowledge and market trends. In addition, must have in-depth subject matter and professional expertise as well as thorough knowledge of the internal/industry data sources which render professional opinion an essential component of the job.

 

A professional at this position level within Accenture has the following responsibilities:

- Partner with stakeholders across the organization to identify opportunities to leverage our extensive data to better serve Accenture CIO Cloud computing service internal customers

- Assess the potential usefulness and validity of new statistical approaches and data sources

- Build complex predictive models to substantially improve and continuously optimize services

- Motivate and mentor other junior developers to grow their skills and career qualifications

Basic Qualifications

- Minimum 3 years of experience in Applied Analytics experience

- Minimum 3 years of experience with End-to-End experience developing approach/methodology given business needs, ETL, Data Quality Analysis, Model Development and Validation (machine learning or statistical), Scoring, Presentation of Results and Deployment into production environment (AWS, Azure & Google Cloud)

- Minimum 2 years of experience with Predictive models & clustering (segmentation) & NLP with deep expertise in one or more of frameworks/libraries such as Scikit learn, NLTK, SciPy, numpy, Pandas, TLC, Keras, TensorFlow, CNTK, H2O, Caffe, PyTorch, Pyspark, R.

- Minimum 2 years of strong/expert SQL, Python, R, in a Big Data Hadoop environment

- 2 years of experience or at least awareness of Agile and Design Thinking methodologies

Professional Skill Requirements

- Masters or Data Science/Statistics/Computer Science/Applied Mathematics or related fields plus 2-3 years applied analytics

- Strong team player, flexible and creative

- Experience with infrastructure related analytics would be a plus

- Passion/Curiosity around new techniques and industry trends (i.e. deep learning, Chatbot Analytics advisors, VR/AR Analytics...)

- Ability to learn and lead with minimal oversight, work on several projects at same time

- Strong communication and presentation skills, ability to maintain timeline (stay on task)

- Good financial acumen and financial analysis and diagnosis skills.

- Proven success in contributing to a team-oriented environment.

- Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment.

- Excellent leadership, communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skill.

- Strong organizational skills.
