The External Research Specialist works within the Research and Editorial Team and reports to the External Research Lead to undertake secondary research on markets, topics or companies and will be required to search for information, analyze data and produce written analysis and materials to publishable standards using MS PowerPoint. The External Research Specialist is aligned to an Accenture Strategy Functional Area and Organization Group and oversees aligned Analysts and the pool of resources.

Responsibilities:

  • Executes research process, requests and activities at global level
  • Works closely with the External Research Lead and peers regarding status of daily requests
  • Researches for content and identifies content gaps
  • Provides guidance to the pool of External Research Analysts as needed
  • Coordinate and transition work to other time zones in accordance to agreed SLA
  • Performs peer reviews of results prior the delivery
  • Provides feedback to External Research Lead on ways to streamline processes and identify areas of improvement
  • Executes activities as needed at the regional and global level
  • Continual collaboration with Service Coordination team and other P&PS service teams
  • Collaborates with peers and within the Proposal and Project Support to share best practices
  • Provides back-up for other External Research Specialists as needed
  • Stays engaged and participates in aligned business function/global group activities
  • Networks in Community of Practices and across the practice and Accenture to promote the team and cross services

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Fluent English language comprehension (written and oral)
  • Proficiency in MS Suite: SharePoint, PowerPoint, Excel, Word
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience
  • Strong project management skills
  • People and team management experience
  • Strong communications skills (written and oral)
  • Strong customer service – able to interact with all levels of executives
  • Flexible in working times to account for working with a demanding client, as well as a global/virtual team
