Goals and Methods

Connect. Collaborate. Create.

Today’s challenges are too complex to be solved by any individual person or nation.

The solutions of the future will require the creativity and innovation of us all. This is the challenge of the Accenture Digital Hackathon; taking place in the Czech Republic, the United Arab Emirates, Germany, Italy, Spain, Great Britain, the Netherlands and Turkey, in our first ever connected hackathon.

The goal: Solving global challenges by connecting people, helping them to collaborate with peers, and giving them the tools to creatively solve problems, no matter where they are.

Czech Czech
United Kingdom
Germany Germany
Netherlands Netherlands

Turkey Turkey
Italy Italy

Why joining this Hackathon?

  • Be a part of the solution: Technological advancement only goes so far. Top-down solutions to global problems are inherently lacking in creativity and realistic goals.

  • Spread innovation: We must democratize access to new technologies and data, and allow those most directly affected by global problems to take a hand in solving them from the ground up.

  • Get noticed: : Your strong ambition to effect global change and make a difference will show on your CV and in interviews.

  • Mentorship: Get hands-on guidance and feedback from experienced Accenture consultants, and build important future connections based on your mutual interests.

  • Awards:

    • 15 000 CZK voucher for each member of winning team (local round);
    • 1 000 EUR voucher for each member of winning team (connected international round);
    • Present winning idea (international round) to the World Expo 2020 organizing committee in Dubai

  • Lot of fun, free food and beverages :)
