Jan J.
IT Project Manager Czech Republic - Prague
2015

"During year 2012 I came over the same feeling I had in 2006 and was wondering about the change to learn something new. Position of IT Project Manager for EMEA has been proposed to me and I’ve caught it as a new challenge. After selection procedure I applied and started to learn brand new things for me from an IT field perspective. Commencement was hard one but very challenging. New people I met from different countries within Accenture were helping me and I had more questions than answers as all procedures were different from what I knew in my previous roles.

After couple minor projects I have been assigned for IP Telephony enablement/refreshment across 4 EMEA locations. With a great cooperation of EMEA Network Services Team and a lot of other local Customer Support Teams we successfully brought this project to successful end."

2010

"My role in 2010 did not change, but despite that its considerable milestone in my Accenture career as my boss decided to let me work in Argentina (Buenos Aires) Cordoba office on enablement of diamond clients for almost 2 months. It was a great experience as I met new people and find out how it works also at different offices around the world where Accenture plays a big role on a market."

2006

"After 2 years in Accenture I decided for a change in position to increase my knowledge about internal processes and also wanted to cooperate and faced business to a greater extent. At that time I’ve been proposed for junior IT Account Manager position, which was suitable for me from requirement perspective. As IT Account Manager I came across a lot of new things from participating on enablement of new BPO deals to implement new IT solutions. My daily operation consists also from translation from an IT language to business one, so I was not that far from IT, but focus was more to client satisfaction and related demands. Besides enablement of new BPO deals in Accenture I’ve been also working on continuous improvement processes, budgeting, finance management and making sure all Service Level Agreements are met together with proper coordination with client side. During almost 6 years I met different managers from different BPO deals, had opportunity to talk to them and learnt more about Accenture core values. IT Account Managers role broaden my mind to different Accenture workforces as well."

2004

"Accenture gave me the possibility to play the role in multicultural company as IT Technician supporting over 700 people and be part of a great skilled team. Together with many chances to use the language and communicate with people abroad to resolve all the issues we have faced I gathered great experience as my starting point. During my work I’ve come across new contacts and learnt a lot for my future career. As long as I want to grow and learn new things I decided for a change within the company."
