Steve Culp is Accenture’s Global Risk Lead, working with clients to help advance their business performance through innovative strategies, processes and change. He is also a senior managing director and lead of Accenture’s CFO & Enterprise Value function.
Steve has almost 30 years’ experience working with our clients across multiple geographies to define strategy and execute change programs across risk management and the broader finance function. He has worked closely with some of the world’s leading organizations, including Barclays, Credit Suisse, AXA and UBS, where he previously served as the global management consulting client account lead across a broad range of projects.
Prior to his current role, he led the launch and development of Accenture Management Consulting’s Risk Management practice. He was also responsible for Accenture’s Finance & Enterprise Performance consulting services for global banking, insurance and capital markets institutions, as well as Finance & Enterprise Performance across Europe, Africa and Latin America.
Steve joined Accenture in the Chicago office in 1991, moved to London in 1995, and was based in Frankfurt from 2003 to 2005. He returned to London from 2006 to 2015 before relocating to the United States and his current base in Austin, Texas.
He has a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Economics from Northern Illinois University and earned an Executive Master of Business Administration degree at the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University in 1999.
