Jin Yu is managing director for Greater China within Accenture Strategy. Her role focuses on advising companies and governments on business strategy, operating models, digital strategies and innovation, cost management, customer strategies, human capital management, large-scale business transformation and organizational change.
Prior to joining Accenture, Mrs. Yu led the Beijing office for McKinsey, where she worked for the last 15+ years serving leading Chinese companies across all sectors—from airlines to tour operators, from large insurance companies to consumer goods and retailers, from heavy industrial manufacturing to chemical companies. Her strategy expertise is in helping clients craft large scale strategic transformation, together with enabling organization restructuring, talent and capability building. Mrs. Yu is also passionate about developing the next generation of leaders and spends time coaching women and mentoring young entrepreneurs.
She was elected one of the top 30 most impactful women business leaders in China by the Chinese Entrepreneur magazine in 2014. She's also a member of International Women Forum and the Chinese Entrepreneur Mulan Club.
Mrs. Yu has a doctorate in Economics from the California Institute of Technology. She is based in Beijing.
