The Public Service (PS) team is one of the industry programs within Accenture’s Capability Network, under Accenture Strategy & Consulting. Principal Duties and Responsibilities
As a Consultant in Data & AI, you will play a critical role in driving client engagements and delivering measurable outcomes. Consultants are expected to own and lead significant workstreams, bringing in-depth subject matter expertise in Data & AI.
Support data and AI strategy initiatives, analyzing client needs and translating them into solution designs
Assist in the design and deployment of AI models, including ML, NLP, and computer vision applications
Develop analytics dashboards and decision intelligence frameworks to support client operations
Manage data-related activities including integration, governance, and quality assessment
Contribute to adoption of data platforms aligned with public service objectives and regulatory requirements
Participate in solution implementation, including coding (Python, R), pipeline development, and AI/ML deployment
Collaborate with cross-functional delivery teams and engage stakeholders during workshops and reviews
Maintain awareness of emerging data and AI technologies and recommend integration opportunities
Deliver training sessions and documentation to support client adoption of solutions
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in related field
Master’s degree/ MBA is an advantage but not mandatory
Experience Requirements
4–7 years of relevant experience, with a strong track record in the Data & AI domain
Strong understanding of global Data & AI trends, policies, and innovations
Hands-on experience in planning and delivering Data & AI programs is highly desirable
Industry/Functional Skills (Preferred – Data & AI)
Strong exposure to global Public Service market trends, best practices, and transformation programs
Prior experience developing consulting assets, methodologies, points-of-view, research, or marketing collaterals in Public Services
Proficiency in Python, R, SQL, Power BI, and Excel
Experience with AI/ML frameworks including TensorFlow, PyTorch, and scikit-learn
Strong data analysis and visualization skills
Familiarity with project coordination, preferably in agile or consulting contexts.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Exposure to NDMO/DAMA frameworks is desirable
