The Regional Protective Services team is a core part of GP&S with members based out of various regions of the world.
Job Summary
The Regional Protective Services (RPS) Associate Manager is responsible for incident and crisis management, emergency preparedness, physical security, and standards compliance. They support investigations, executive protection, event security, and security officer vendor management within Costa Rica and the region. This role requires collaboration with various internal and external stakeholders and flexibility to be on call 24/7, travel 25% of the time, and work outside normal business hours. The RPS Associate Manager will also support the wider Latam Regional Protective Services team.
Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
Serve as the primary point of contact for the Regional Protective Services (RPS) with the Accenture Security Operations Center (ASOC) in Costa Rica.
Foster a culture of security awareness.
Contribute to and implement security strategies, plans, procedures, training and controls.
Conduct systematic threat, vulnerability, and risk assessments.
Cultivate and build engagement/relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including vendors, industry organizations (OSAC, ASIS, etc.), law enforcement, and other government agencies.
Assist the GP&S Intelligence team in conducting and disseminating threat assessments for domestic and international operations.
Demonstrate natural leadership and the ability to establish trust-based relationships, gaining valuable insights through collaboration and communication.
Act as the primary escalation path in Costa Rica for incidents raised by partners such as Employee Relations, Human Resources, or Workplace.
Lead RPS training and security operations across the Costa Rica region.
Develop, collaborate and maintain strategic relationships with Employee Assistance Office, Employee Relations, Legal, HR, Workplace, IT, Travel, and local leadership.
Ensure GP&S’s guidance and response actions align with Accenture’s policies.
Here's what you need:
Bachelor´s degree in security & safety management, Risk Management, Crisis Management, Organizational Leadership, or relevant fields from an accredited college or university.
Minimum of 7 years of relevant security experience or equivalent in private, government, or security forces.
Minimum of 3 years’ experience working directly with Corporate Security functions.
Industry-recognized local and international professional security certifications are a plus.
Minimum of 3 years’ experience with Microsoft Office products and programs, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Advanced English proficiency required.

Language skills preferred.
ASIS CPP, PSP, and CPI are considered a plus.
