Qualifications
Key Responsibilities:
- Own and manage Adobe Analytics implementations, including custom configurations, variable mapping, and tagging strategies.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive data layer strategy that aligns with organizational objectives and business needs.
- Write detailed technical specifications for tagging and data layer changes to guide development teams.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with tags, data layers, and reports to ensure accurate data collection.
- Implement and test analytics for both web and mobile platforms using Adobe Analytics and Adobe Launch.
- Write, manage, and debug custom JavaScript solutions.
- Validate data collection accuracy using tools like Omnibug, Charles Proxy, AEP Debugger, and browser developer tools.
- Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to understand objectives, KPIs, and business roadmaps.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications and actionable implementation plans.
- Work directly with Adobe Analytics users to address requests and provide technical solutions aligned with business goals.
- Collaborate with leads and managers to prioritize requests, manage sprint planning, and track progress.
- Balance parallel support for business priorities, enhancements, and ad hoc stakeholder requests.
- Document and communicate best practices, risks, trade-offs, and constraints to ensure successful project delivery.
- Ensure tagging and data collection processes comply with GDPR, CCPA, and cookie consent regulations.
- Regularly audit and optimize the implementation to align with industry standards and business objectives.
Qualifications:
- Extensive experience with Adobe Analytics and Adobe Launch.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript/ES6, HTML/HTML5, CSS, and AJAX.
- Demonstrated expertise in web analytics and tracking methodologies, particularly within eCommerce (e.g., tag management, pixel tracking, hit-level data analysis).
- Hands-on experience with debugging tools like Omnibug, Charles Proxy, AEP Debugger, and browser developer tools.
- Understanding of data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and cookie consent requirements.
- Adobe Certified Expert (ACE): Analytics Business Practitioner, Analytics Developer certification or Analytics Master Architect.
- Experience implementing analytics for mobile devices and Single Page Applications (SPAs).
- Strong project management skills with exposure to agile methodologies.
- Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and prioritize effectively.
- Proactive, curious, and adaptable with a self-starter mentality.
