The Work: Renewal Specialist
As an EA Renewals Specialist, you will be part of the MSFT DIS Global EA Renewals team that leads the renewal sales motion of maintenance support contracts and identifies up-sell opportunities from our established customer base & will be responsible for achieving sales revenue targets through outbound outreach to leads, pitching the value proposition of our products to increase business adoption, and maintaining and growing those clients.
Main responsibilities:
Leads customer renewal process, driving the engagement through to closure, and executes plans for EA renewals pipeline, to ensure targets and customer business needs are met
Qualifies lead to opportunity & customer commits to move forward & explore renewal
Opportunity handover to Partner Connection Manager
Turn renewals leads into opportunities and revenue pipeline
Engages across industries, company sizes and types to identify upsell/cross sell opportunities
Understand customers’ current Microsoft license position, leading with Microsoft's cloud to secure customer wins, maximizing up-sell and cross-sell opportunities
Demonstrates Microsoft value proposition, address competitive offerings and solutions
Meet and exceed targets for net-new revenue and sales pipeline; accurately forecast sales, pipeline and usage for the products and solutions
Profile Attributes
Keen interest in sales and marketing
Own and deliver sales quota, including number of deals closed, revenue closed and Cloud Sales
Effectively own and drive customer opportunities until successful closing by positioning the value of Microsoft solutions to customers and partners
Self-driven with attention to detail and follow-through
Excellent communication skills: verbal, written, listening skills
Adaptable and can execute quickly on changing program requirements with flawless execution

Basic Qualifications:
1+ years experience in sales or leads generation (Azure cloud and similar technologies), upcoming renewals, late renewals, future renewals tied to new contracts
Proven inside sales/Sales experience
Successful track record working closely with sales leadership and guiding sales teams to effectively sell a solution with a different selling motion and value proposition.
Sales aptitude: exhibiting ability to empathize with customer and meet targets
Exceptional interpersonal, written and presentation skills.
Track record of over-achieving quota
Strong phone presence and experience dialing dozens of calls per day
Proficient with corporate productivity and web presentation tools
Experience working with Salesforce.com or similar CRM
Strong listening and presentation skills
Fluent verbal and written communication skills in English and language of territory being covered
Highly proficient computer skills including MS Office and Salesforce
Flexible and quick learner, able to adapt to continuously evolving needs to help clients grow their business
Preferred Qualifications:
Relevant software industry experience in any of the following: IT systems, enterprise or infrastructure management, application development and management, security, and/or analytics
Microsoft licensing knowledge highly preferred
Education sector experience good to have
Knowledge of Microsoft Cloud services and products
Demonstrated ability to meet and/or exceed determined sales and activity quoats
Demonstrate speed, agility, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills with an ability to ramp up quickly
Proactively communicate to clients on progress and proactively identify areas where clients can improve on how they use our solutions
IT environment experience preferred
Bachelor's degree preferred
