The Campaign Developer will focus on marketing automation development using languages like HTML, CSS, JS, SQL, AMP script, or Velocity scripting for the campaign orchestration, audiences' creation, and maintenance, and monitoring automated jobs. Additionally, the Campaign Developer will comprehend technical processes, address any concerns, and escalate any issues to ensure timely projects delivery.

Qualifications

Key Responsibilities

  • Campaign orchestration (automation configuration, coordination of marketing campaigns, CRM integrations, and implementations).

  • Collaboration with other team members to confirm the campaign’s feasibility and translate marketing strategy and requirements into business requirements.

  • Review and interpretation of campaign requests.

  • End-to-end coding different marketing campaigns and target audiences. ​

  • Recognize opportunities for coding efficiencies

  • Troubleshoot on campaign content creation, personalization, dynamic content, and URL issues.

  • Prepare Test Cases/Checklists for UAT phases.

  • Manages client and team expectations throughout delivery; flags risks and issue escalations related to the campaigns.

  • Monitors campaign performances and configure metrics reports set up.

  • Collaborate with platform integrations.

  • Build and maintain forms and landing pages from scratch.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 2-4 years of experience in marketing which may include campaign management, marketing service provider, marketing agency, and marketing operations.

  • A developer background in HTML, CSS (intermediate/advanced) JavaScript (basic/intermediate), code validation and SQL (database queries).

  • High school diploma

  • Experience with one or more leading marketing automation vendors, e.g., Adobe Campaign, Eloqua, Marketo or Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Responsys.

  • Proven experience developing responsive templates (for web or email)

  • Intermediate knowledge of responsive & fluid code optimized for email 

  • ADA best practices and implementation for emails.

  • QA and troubleshooting experience with email optimization tools (EOA, Litmus, Putsmail, Return Path)

  • Third-party code implementation.

  • Knowledge about email legal compliance

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to articulate project requirements, communicate project status, and interface with internal and external team members

  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with rapidly changing priorities and a high volume of projects.

  • Client service delivery experience.

  • Prioritization and documentation skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Relational and non-relational database experience

  • Experience across more than one Industry, e.g., Life Sciences, Retail, Financial Services.

  • Marketing background or experience (Complex Campaigns | Browse, Abandoned Cart, Welcome Series, API integrations, SFTP, Coupon Offers, IP Warming - Deliverability - Spam)
