The Capabilities Strategy Manager is a key member of the Marketing Capabilities team within the Marketing Capabilities & Agency Services team which is part of the broader Marketing + Communications (M+C) Intelligent Services group. Within M+C, this role ensures that our marketing teams are operating at world class levels and consistently innovating and improving to remain best-in-industry.
As the Capabilities Strategy Manager, you will:
Lead, evaluate, and initiate improvements and enhancements across the M+C ecosystem to streamline and take the guess work out of how programs and campaigns are designed and delivered
Support and assist the Marketing Capabilities Lead to influence innovation and operationalize marketing tools and solutions for scale
Partner with cross M+C stakeholders and teams on strategies for integration of systems and solutions to deliver efficiency and effectiveness and evangelize the importance of interoperability
Understand business requirements to guide conceptualizing and creating technology requirements and workflows
Collaborate with M+C and non-M+C teams to identify and define customer needs, understand solution context, and support initiatives developing M+C capabilities’ vision, roadmap, and features required to meet these needs
Role Specific Expectations
Develop and maintain trusted internal M+C stakeholder relationships across M+C, CIO, Campaign Management, Marketing Operations, Accenture Song, and other cross-Accenture and cross-M+C teams
Understand the overall business objectives and propose innovative solutions aligned to those objectives
Collaborate with stakeholders and other teams to verify and build business requirements which inform technical requirements and roadmap
Think and act tactically
Precision and comfort in working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple initiatives or workstreams across teams while consistently meeting deadlines and motivating others to do the same
Create and oversee solution business requirements to ensure project objectives are met per stakeholder expectations
Create and review documentation and deliverables, such as project charters, requirements, personas, process flows, etc. for priority initiatives
Deliver agile planning for optimal team and project organization, workload and resourcing balance and scalability
Manage requirements gathering, timelines and deliverables and advise on areas of risk, raise issues early and provide work-in-progress status
Turn end-user requests and tool enhancements into requirements
Listen, develop, and support requirements and plans to ensure project objectives are met per stakeholder expectations
Prioritize, present to the technical team, monitor development progress, test, and review deployed stories
Ensure capabilities and processes meet procurement, data privacy, legal, etc. requirements and standards
Collaborate with data & analytics and other digital capability solution integrations for efficient reporting and data transparency

Qualifications
Role Specific Skills
Minimum 1-2 years combined experience in marketing, marketing ops, marketing execution and/or marketing capabilities
Expertise and understanding of MarTech platforms, Adobe is a plus
Expertise with process flows and workflow design
Critical thinking and the ability to bring order to unstructured problems
Expert skills in written and oral communication in English, storytelling, presentation, influencing, problem solving and the ability to communicate between technical and non-technical audiences
Strong organization, detail-oriented and process-driven focused to create agile, repeatable, and scalable frameworks to deliver results
Strong understanding of Agile development methodology
Strong listening skills with ability to understand leadership priorities and requirements
Strong Microsoft Suite knowledge and ability, especially Excel, Word, PPT. Experience with workflow and production tools a (Workfront, Monday.com, etc.)
Experience in working in a fast-paced environment while consistently meeting deadlines and motivating others to do the same
Experience in cross-channel marketing
Aptitude for effective collaboration in a cross functional work environment; experiences working with global teams across time zones
