Job Description

The ideal candidate is a strong leader with expertise in front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS and JavaScript. This leader can prioritize well, communicate clearly and is able to manage the implementation of complex web sites, defining the architecture and development process. Able to work with multiple projects to provide solutions that adhere to the latest standards and best practices. 


Awareness and Communication 

  • Create awareness amongst different functions on importance of intranet for sharing the information 

  • Research and reach out to various stakeholders to get updated content for sites 

Content uploading, gathering and Maintenance 

  • Ensure content upload as per defined final user appraisal best practices 

  • Manage timely update and accuracy of uploaded content 

  • Interact with different functions and stakeholders to ensure updated content is uploaded to the site 

  • The Web Developer is expected to utilize best practices in web screen design as well as learn about different middleware platforms to source and update data through web screens as specified in functional requirements 

Domain Management Service 

  • Manage the execution of website decommissioning including, archiving, communications and harvesting processes as agreed with the client 

  • Update, maintain and troubleshoot existing websites 

  • Support and troubleshoot the day to day technical needs for existing websites 

  • The front-end developer works with software engineers and developers to implement their backend work with interactive templates

Layout Management 

  • Maintain the layout of web sites as per the defined guidelines 

Web Development 

  • Plan and perform module development 

  • Document technical specifications and design 

  • Analyze system requirement and system specification 

  • Analyze new module development for errors and performance 

  • Apply problem solving and technical skills to debug code and integration issues 

  • Complete unit testing of all development code 

People Management

  • Provides team members with a sense of purpose, direction and understanding of each other's responsibilities. 

  • Delegates so that team members can own a significant piece of work and holds them accountable for their tasks. 

  • Respects the learning curve of individuals and supports them through their development journey. 

  • Gains consensus and commitment from team members on task alignment.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Similar field
  • 5 years with front end engineering, preferably in transactional businesses using A B testing.
  • Experience as Technical Lead.
  • Proven development experience on the following technologies HTML5, CSS3, JS.
  • Advanced experience with JS libraries like jQuery. Modular JS development is a plus.
  • Intermediate knowledge on JS Frameworks Angular, React, VueJS
  • Intermediate knowledge with CSS frameworks like bootstrap foundation
  • Advanced DOM Manipulation experience.
  • Responsive design techniques experience.
  • Experience interacting with Cookies Local Storage Session.
  • Understanding of XML JSON structures.
  • Intermediate knowledge of task runners tools like Gulp and or Grunt.
  • Debugging experience against in live environments.
  • Solid knowledge using web development and testing tools Firebug, Web Developer Toolbars for Chrome, Safari, IE.
  • A B Test tools knowledge Optimizely, Dynamic Yield, Adobe Target, Qubit
  • Debugging experience using HTTP monitoring tools Charles, Fiddler is a plus.


  • Good written communication skills.
  • Advanced English.
  • Attention to detail, self motivation, and ability to keep on task.
  • Ability to multi task in a fast paced environment.
